The family of four descended the stairs under the gazes of everyone in the room.
"Is she finally gonna reveal her identity as the daughter of the Hayes family to the general public?" Jane was surprised .
Angela had always been someone known to be extremely low key. Even apart from being a special ops agent of the military which required a certain level of secrecy from the general public, she had always remained mysterious when it came to being a daughter of the Hayes family.
Most people were aware that there was an elder daughter of the Hayes family, however they had not really seen this elderly daughter before.
The reason being that this elder daughter had evidently decided to remain completely out of public eye.
This was why Jane was suddenly curious as to why Angela was coming down the stairs with the family head , his wife and younger son, who literally did nothing to hide his presence from the general public.Well technically, he had been famous a couple of years ago due to staring in certain movies such as Red Panther, amongst others.
However even for him, as a normal and obligatory practice of the Hayes family , having been shipped to the military several years ago to serve in the military had caused his face to fade into obscurity, causing so many people, the general public most especially to forget about his face. This was how fame worked. If a famous personality based in public obscurity for a long time , they would fade from people’s memories .
Anyway, the family of four finally made their way down the stairs , as the subtle music with overtones of various instruments continued to waft in the ears of everyone.
Cane Hayes, the family head voiced simply, straightforwardly and confidently " Welcome everyone. Tonight marks the celebration of our son’s 34th birthday. We rarely have banquets for these kind of events, however seeing that war is literally breathing on us, we decided to celebrate his birthday tonight with everyone as we literally don’t know when we will get to see him again, if we ever will again. Like the saying goes , born a Hayes, born a national warrior. This statement has never been truer in these turbulent times.
