Chapter 44. Commotion Infront of the administration block
’’ So, this is the famous Zanpala University everyone is talking about’’ Kailen’s gaze peered through the transparent windshield of the car, appreciating the massive entrance for a few moments.
The car passed through the massive entrance of the university, revealing what one would refer to as a city in its own wise.
The taxi Kailen was in, alongside many other vehicles, sped past massive building complexes and people roaming the streets of the university. Some of the buildings were skyscrapers, others were story buildings. However, they had extremely beautiful exteriors that spoke volumes of quality and resources that had been invested into the design of these buildings. One didn’t have to be an expert in architecture to appreciate the amount of resources that went into these buildings, as just a single look at them would be enough to leave that impression on one’s mind.
’’Incredible, if one is not informed that this is a university and not a city, one would not believe it. Perhaps I’m awed because this is my first time venturing into a university, however that doesn’t change the fact that this place lives up to its reputation’’ Kailen revealed a honest expression of shock and appreciation as he took in the view.
The driver chuckled as he glanced at Kailen through the rear-view mirror ’’I’ve been driving people to this university over the years and all the first timers here have similar expressions on their faces. Zanpala University is really the pride of the Zanpala nation. If my son can enroll here one day, even if he spits on the grave of his ancestors, I won’t mind’’
Kailen nodded at the driver’s words. However he was dumbfounded at the fellow’s manner of using figures of speech. The man would not mind even if his son spat on the grave of his ancestors as long as his son was able to enroll in Zanpala University one day?
’’Of all the expressions he had to use? Are all the people in the capital this wild?’’ Kailen chuckled inwardly.
The driver stopped before an extremely large car park adjacent to a very large and tall skyscraper that seemed to pierce through the clouds.
’’The awakener’s center of the city is as far as anyone who is not a student, or staff member can go. Since you’ve already paid the fare sir, feel free to hop off. Thanks for your patronage’’ Kailen nodded at the white skinned driver’s words, then got out of the car, ignoring the sound of the car driving off.
’’Well, the officer did not tell a lie about this one’’ Kailen stared at the skyscraper before him. Just the exterior of the building boasted magnificence. The building was extremely wide for a skyscraper and it’s height was not traceable to Kailen, at least from standing on the ground. This was the Awakener’s center of the capital city of the Zanpala Nation.
’’Maybe I could visit here to utilize the facilities when I have the chance’’ Kailen mused to himself as the familiar recommendation plaque handed over to him by that weird lady appeared in his hands from the space ring.
