Chapter 89: CH 089: Strip!
"I don’t just understand you," Dave said, his voice laced with disappointment. "After everything I did to those at the casino, any smart person would know I’m not an ordinary human." His eyes bore into Tasha’s, a hint of disgust in their depths. "I’m sure you knew it. You were just blinded by having revenge for your cousin, that you think you can do whatever you want to me."
Dave’s frown deepened, his expression turning cold. "I understand the grudge you have with me, but you went on to sacrifice the lives of two others who weren’t even in any conflict with you. Are you really human at all?" His gaze seemed to pierce through Tasha, his words cutting deep into her psyche. "I guess you and that sick man-friend of yours are really meant for each other after all."
Tasha’s laughter erupted, a wild, unhinged sound that filled the room. She doubled over, her body shaking with mirth, before finally straightening up and speaking. "So what are you going to do? Are you going to kill me?" Her voice was laced with sarcasm, a smirk twisting her lips.
Dave’s expression remained calm, a soft chuckle escaping his lips. "To some people, what I’m about to do is attaining justice. So it doesn’t matter if I kill you or not. It won’t make me less human, it will be you who won’t be alive anymore." His words were measured, a subtle threat underlying his tone.
For a moment, Tasha’s smile faltered, her eyes flashing with fear as she sensed the menace in Dave’s voice. Before she could react, Dave moved in closer, his hand closing tightly around her neck. Tasha’s eyes widened as Dave pinned her to the wall, his grip tightening on her.
"Now, you’re going to choose one option among these that I’m going to give you," Dave said, his voice low and menacing. "Will you do whatever I say, or you’ll choose to die in the most excruciating way possible?" He paused, as he pulled out a syringe from his pocket using his other free hand.
"You saw the serum your man gave to that teenage girl, I’m going to give the same thing to you, and then you’ll slowly turn into that monster."
Tasha’s eyes went wide as she stared at the syringe, her body beginning to struggle against Dave’s grip. She shook her head vehemently, her eyes pleading with Dave not to inject her.
Dave’s gaze locked onto hers, his expression unyielding. "Will you do as I said then?" he asked, his voice firm.
