Tasha was ready. She stood tall, her eyes focused as she climbed onto the stage, each step radiating determination. She wasn’t just prepared to fight, she was prepared to give everything she had, leaving no room for doubt or mercy.
Despite her boldness and reckless actions, Anthony and the rest of the executives could only watch from the sidelines. It was Tasha’s deliberate choice to test Dave, but what better way than for her to face him herself?
When they saw her climp up the stage, there was no need for intervention. Yet, as they observed the scene unfolding, there was a mix of curiosity and concern on their faces. They did not act. They did not speak. They merely only watched.
At that moment announcer’s voice boomed over the arena, signaling the start of the match. "And let the match begin!"
The crowd erupted in anticipation, the tension palpable as both fighters stood poised for the first move. The spotlight shone on Tasha, highlighting her resolve, while Dave stood across from her, a calm expression written on his face. The atmosphere was electric, and the entire hall seemed to be holding its breath, waiting for the clash to begin.
But just as the match was about to commence, a loud and frantic voice pierced through the tension from the midst of the crowd.
"No! Stop! Stop the fight!"
The crowd fell silent in confusion, the unexpected interruption hanging in the air like a heavy weight. The voice belonged to none other than Ajax, his bandaged head visible as he pushed his way through the crowd, desperately trying to reach the front. His face was twisted in worry and panic, his movements frantic as he navigated through the sea of spectators.
Ajax had just witnessed Dave’s last opponent, Sonya, being humiliated and ultimately defeated by a single slap from him. The memory of that crushing defeat lingered in his mind, and he could not bear the thought of seeing his Aunt, Tasha, suffer the same or almost similar fate. He knew what Dave was capable of, and he wasn’t about to let her fall victim to the same devastating display of strength.
