The levels of abilities provided by the nation, from low to high, are: Basic, Quality, Excellence, Transcendent.
The vast majority of citizens who pass the test could only choose abilities from the first three levels.
A citizen had to pass all four tests—strength, speed, endurance, and will—and score highly, then go through several rounds of assessment by the Star Realm Department, to apply for the highest level of Transcendent Ability and enter the queue to obtain the ability based on the order of time.
Ji Xinghuo's original goal was a Transcendent Level ability, with about a 30% chance.
But now, things were different.
"If this really is an Alien Species," Ji Xinghuo muttered to himself, "judging by the hardness of the gemstone and the nightmares it causes, the ability it contains is at least Transcendent Level. Moreover, it might even be higher, reaching the quality of a 'Starfall Level' ability!"
