"Let’s go." Lin Guoliang put away his phone.
"Did the girl specify a location?"
"She mentioned an arc-shaped building, so I think it must be the commercial building at the Northeast corner," Jiang Xiyue said.
As a policewoman, she was quite familiar with the surrounding environment, including the layout of unfinished buildings.
Lin Guoliang walked ahead, carefully observing the surroundings as he went.
"Master, what’s going on?" Jiang Xiyue asked.
"If this really is a murder case, then it’s possible the murderer left through this route because there’s only one way out. Keep an eye out for anything unusual," Lin Guoliang said.
Jiang Xiyue’s eyes lit up, and she quickly responded, "Master, you really think of everything. Why didn’t I consider that?"
"It’s just some experience. Give it time, and you’ll come to know these things too," Lin Guoliang said nonchalantly.
Although Jiang Xiyue had been taught these things at the police academy, not everyone is a natural-born detective, nor can everyone apply their learning to their work.
