Chapter 65: He Looks Even More Handsome
Mira began to scroll through the iPad, each design more stunning than the last. Every swipe revealed beautifully crafted patterns, showcasing intricate details that seemed almost too good to be real. She found herself drawn in, her eyes admiring the effort and creativity poured into every design. But one particular pattern stood out, catching her attention with its elegant sophistication. It was unlike anything she had seen before, and she couldn’t tear her eyes away from it.
She paused, captivated by the design, her fingers hovering over the screen as if the decision to stop and admire it was entirely out of her control.
Zamian, sitting quietly beside her, noticed the change in her expression. He leaned in slightly, his voice calm but curious as he asked, "Do you like it?"
Mira glanced up, startled by his question. She had been so lost in her thoughts that she hadn’t realized how much time had passed. Nodding slightly, she responded, "Yes... It’s beautiful."
Just as Mira was about to contemplate the design further, one of the ladies assisting them stepped forward with a warm smile. She took the iPad from Mira, her movements graceful and efficient. "Wow! You really have good taste, Mrs. Mira. This is wonderful," the woman said, her admiration clear in her voice.
The other assistant nodded in agreement, her eyes scanning the design with approval. "Absolutely," she added, before both women bowed their heads respectfully. "Thank you very much for working with us, Mr. Zamian and Mrs. Mira," they said in unison, their tone polite and professional.
Mira smiled faintly, her mind still on the design she had chosen. The assistants left, and as the door quietly closed behind them, a blanket of silence fell over the room. The atmosphere shifted, growing still and calm, almost unnervingly so.
Mira opened her mouth, intending to say something, but quickly closed it again. Her thoughts were scattered, unsure of how to express the myriad of emotions swirling inside her. Her hesitation didn’t go unnoticed.
"If you want to say something, then speak. Talk to me," Zamian said, his voice steady but firm as he observed her closely.
