Forbiddenly Bound To  You

Chapter 47: Gorgeous

Mira took out her phone, which had been switched off for quite some time. As she powered it back on, messages began pouring in one after another. Each ping caught her attention, but one message in particular made her pause. Her eyes flickered to the notification, and she almost dropped the phone. Money had been deposited into her account, but it wasn’t just her usual allowance—this was double. Her heart skipped a beat as her eyes shot up, locking onto Zamian, who was sitting beside her in the car. Her widened eyes were filled with disbelief as she tried to process what was happening.

She hesitated for a moment, her mind racing to catch up. Her mouth felt dry as she managed to find her voice. "Are you the one sending me this money?" she asked, the words barely making it past her lips. Her tone carried a mix of disbelief and astonishment.

Zamian, ever composed, simply nodded. His calmness in this surreal moment made the whole thing feel even more unbelievable to Mira. Without another word, he pulled out his phone and began tapping on the screen. A few seconds later, Mira’s phone pinged again with another notification. This time, it was even more shocking. Her eyes, already wide, seemed to grow impossibly larger, and her lips parted in utter disbelief. She blinked, checking her phone again to make sure she wasn’t imagining things. Could this really be happening? Had Zamian just linked his account to hers?

She stared at him, completely stunned. "Do you realize what you just did?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper. It wasn’t just about the money. It was about what it meant—giving someone access to your financials was no small gesture. It spoke volumes about trust and the nature of their relationship.

Zamian, however, showed no sign of being flustered. He nodded once more, his expression unchanging. He didn’t seem to think this was as big of a deal as she did. Still maintaining his usual composure, he reached into his pocket and pulled out a card. But this wasn’t just any card—this was an Invictus card, a card that Mira had only ever heard rumors about, the kind of card that even the black card paled in comparison to.

He handed it to her casually, as if he were handing her a piece of gum. "You can buy whatever you want with this," he said in his calm, collected manner.

Mira’s mouth dropped open in sheer shock. Her eyes widened to the point where it felt like they might pop out of her head. She had never even held a black card before, and now here she was, holding something even more exclusive, more powerful. The weight of the Invictus card felt heavy in her hand, not just physically but symbolically as well. She was completely speechless for a moment, unable to find words to describe what she was feeling.

"You gave me access to your account?" she asked, her voice filled with disbelief, her heart still racing. Her mind spun with questions. What did this mean? Why was he doing this? It didn’t make sense, not for someone as careful and calculating as Zamian.

But before she could let her thoughts spiral further, Zamian corrected her. "It’s our account now," he said, his voice steady and authoritative, leaving no room for argument or further discussion. His gaze remained fixed on her, calm yet firm, as if this was the most natural thing in the world.

Mira’s heart pounded even harder, the gravity of the situation starting to sink in. She could hardly believe it. Her mind raced with questions she didn’t dare ask, but one thing was certain—things between them had shifted in a way she hadn’t anticipated.

Before she could react further, the car came to a stop. She glanced out the window and found herself facing a mansion, different from the one they had been in earlier. It was enormous, extravagant, and she was certain this must be one of Zamian’s properties, though she hadn’t been here before. Slowly, her shock began to wear off as she realized just how wealthy the man sitting beside her really was. At this point, nothing surprised her anymore. She wouldn’t even be shocked if he owned the entire country.

As if reading her thoughts, the door opened, and Zamian extended his hand towards her. Mira hesitated for a second before placing her small hand in his. He helped her out of the car with a gentle yet firm grip. As they entered the mansion, Zamian spoke in that same calm tone. "We’ll be going out later this evening. The dresser and makeup artist will arrive soon. You’ll be ready by then, right?"
