Chapter 24 : [The Festival of Avalon] I
After hours of reading, Van discovered several methods to increase his [Mana], but they weren’t very efficient for the long term.
"In the end, I can only rely on my knowledge as the author of this novel," Van thought wearily.
Van tidied up the books he had read and left the library.
As Van was about to step out of the library, a small child jumped towards him.
"Die, you brat!" Oliver shouted, swinging a wooden sword.
"Here we go again," Van thought.
Van simply stepped aside and managed to avoid Oliver’s sword swing.
Van then activated [World Treasure] and a golden portal appeared above Oliver. A golden bar emerged from the golden portal and landed on Oliver’s head.
Being hit by a gold bar weighing several kilograms, Oliver, who was only 6 years old, couldn’t fight back.
Oliver only felt pain in his head and his vision went dark.
"Olivia, take care of Oliver. The gold bar belongs to both of you," Van said and walked away.
In the distance, Olivia appeared out of thin air, staring at Van who was walking away.
