0% Unexpected encounters always stirred up a mix of emotions.
Bewilderment, joy or even hatred and anger could result from such coincidences. After facing Senior Sienne Alpenhauser through the crystal ball, the emotions I felt were no different.
I was taken aback at first
Why was she here of all places? Shouldn’t she be busy teaching at the Academy? It was hard to imagine why she’d need to privately contact me.
Then came doubt and anxiety. Not knowing the reason always brought fear. And, finally, the last sensation that arrived was ‘composure’.
That sour expression, those irritated eyes and above all, Senior Sienne was the one who called me saying she had urgent business.
The answer was clear.
I wasn’t the one with the problem—She was. And she was now reaching out to me for help. There was no reason for me to cower.
As soon as I realized this, my expression instantly became calm. Seeing my restored composure, she turned her head away with a snort.
It was still hard to discern where her gaze was directed. The boundary between her silver pupils and the whites of her eyes was ambiguous.
But her words were crystal clear.
