Huang Rong ignored him and turned to Wanyan Liang. “King, have you brought the antidote?”
Wanyan Liang replied in a deep tone, “I have indeed brought the antidote, but since Tang Kuo Bian isn’t here, how could I possibly give it to you?”
Huang Rong answered, “Please, King, put yourself in my shoes—if it were you, would you bring him along? Moreover, rest assured that I need him to test the antidote; as long as it works, I’ll release him.”
