Song Qingshu shook his head. “I told you, if I die from poison, it’s my just punishment.”
Seeing his stubborn refusal to expel the poison, Mu Wanqing grew both angry and anxious. In desperation, she ripped open his clothes around the wound, then lowered her mouth to it, drawing the poisonous blood out in mouthfuls.
