Chapter 925 - 316, The Down-and-Out Richest Man

After Donnie concluded his affairs in New York, he promptly returned to Atlantic City with Janine Woburg and Mia Bock.

Just as Donnie had mentioned back in New York, he arranged for Mia Bock to reside in the apartment next to Janine Woburg’s.

Donnie himself headed straight back to the seaside manor. Having been away for over two months, what he missed the most were his two children.

When he arrived home, he saw the nanny taking care of the two children. Helen, as always, was sitting on the couch engrossed in her book, while Alice was humming along to the songs on the radio.

The two women were overjoyed to see Donnie back.

Alice rushed over immediately and asked, "Didn’t you say you’d be back in a few days?"

While Donnie was still in New York, Alice had called him to inquire about his return to Atlantic City. At the time, Donnie hadn’t finalized his schedule, so he didn’t give her a definite answer.

"I missed you all so much, so I came back!"

Donnie placed his hand gently on Alice’s shoulder.

Alice chuckled, "Do you miss me more, or Helen less?"

Helen, hearing Alice’s question, gave a light smirk.

Donnie diplomatically replied, "Of course I missed you both equally!"
