Although he hadn’t witnessed the battle personally, he understood its brutality and remarked, "Send a telegram to Chris and have him allocate funds from the company’s account to compensate the wounded and the families of the deceased. Also, inform the families of the three fatalities that the company will continue to pay their wages!"
Steve Cotting nodded and said, "Understood. I’ll send a telegram to Mr. Chris shortly."
