Tang Yuchan hadn’t caught the latter part of the conversation, only heard the part about Zhang Tao asking for her contact and almost burst out laughing. Since when did Zhang Tao have such poor taste to fancy a high school girl and even ask for her WeChat? How could that even be said? Tang Yuchan was a master of irony, dismissively delivering her retort and even giving her eyes a mocking roll, as if the words were genuinely a joke. Her words were indeed sarcastic, insinuating that the woman was delusionally overestimating her appeal.

As the girl delivered this speech, she appeared to be convinced of her own narrative, causing everyone to almost burst into laughter. Zhang Tao desperately wanted to stand up and curse her for being shameless—how could someone blithely lie like this? His integrity would be ruined if not for witnesses.
