Lin Qi looked utterly bored and deep in thought. Shen Dong watched her and couldn’t help but smile; this girl really knew how to perform. He had been worried that she might be bullied, but now it seemed there was no need for concern at all. It was already very good that she wasn’t the one bullying others.
"Why are you looking at me like that? Did I say something wrong? Just you wait and see, let me give you a show, and watch what that woman looks like in it. See if she looks as good as me. I can guarantee you, no other woman can pull it off like I can. You do have good taste indeed, knowing that dress was meant for me."
After saying that, Lin Qi wore a particularly smug expression. That was typical of her; sometimes she really liked to joke around. Though the words might sound arrogant, you could tell she was joking, and most people wouldn’t take it seriously. Now, she said it all with a beaming smile.
Shen Dong raised an eyebrow; now he was curious to see what Lin Yun looked like in it. Just as this thought crossed his mind, the curtain at the door parted, and a beautiful woman walked out. It was clear to see that it was Lin Yun. While she looked stunning and the makeup suited her perfectly, something about the outfit felt distinctly odd, an oddity that was hard to place. For now, he’d just have to wait and see. The figure had certainly caught everyone’s attention. If Lin Qi hadn’t drawn all the gazes with her outfit earlier, this one would definitely have looked pretty on Lin Yun, and would surely have earned applause.
But, having seen the more beautiful person wear it before, Lin Yun’s attempt seemed just so-so. In fact, it felt rather dull, as though Lin Qi in that outfit would have looked much better. Everyone thought this but no one showed it, fearing it would upset Lin Yun.

If he found her attractive in the outfit, then it would be a win for her. Thus, she approached Shen Dong with a swaying, slender waist.
