Chapter 625: The End
Since they had no other options, Mrs. Hua had been yelling from the beginning to the end, and many people couldn’t help but start to stand up and speak to the manager:
"If it’s going to be this noisy here, then don’t blame us for complaining directly. Look at the quality of your waiters, I also feel there’s no need to come here anymore. You can go explain to your boss yourselves, I don’t care about these matters anymore." Many said this and then turned to leave.
Mrs. Hua looked particularly smug, thinking that if they didn’t keep her there, they deserved the scorn and hatred from these people.
This had nothing to do with her at all, it was all the manager’s fault for not wanting to stand up for her when she had been serious about her work before. If they didn’t want to, then don’t blame her for ruining everything.
"Manager, I worked so hard on so many things, but you didn’t appreciate any of it. In the end, I could only do such a thing. Don’t you blame me. If you want to blame someone, blame yourself. You are just too heartless."
The manager, seeing so many people about to stand and complain, became so dizzy with anger that he quickly stepped forward and slapped Mrs. Hua across her already large and quivering face, sending her reeling as if she was about to faint.
Mrs. Hua was particularly shocked that he would dare to strike her directly and with such force, her face burning painfully. Before she could recover from that slap, another followed immediately.
In between, he really didn’t spare a moment, and that loud slap quieted the entire hall; Mrs. Hua dared not yammer on anymore, merely clutching her face and stuttering as she said to him, "How dare you hit me, how could you do this to me?"
The manager was furious. Hearing her speak like that, he was unyielding as he grabbed and pulled her up, saying, "Why can’t I hit you? Look at what you’ve done, ruining my affairs is bad enough, and now you still want to ruin the entire restaurant. What exactly did this restaurant do to deserve this from you?
If you ask me, I should never have kept you here from the beginning. Look how many people want to complain about us now. Do you want me dead? Since it’s come to this, I’m going to vent my anger on you first. Forget about your wages for the last few months; I’m deducting them all as compensation for me."
From the beginning, I shouldn’t have thought you had repented. Keeping you by my side over and over again, this is the price. If everyone wants the restaurant to close down, I will never let you go. I will make sure every restaurant bans you and many industries deny you work. I’ll see how you manage to survive."
