Tang Yuchan was already plastered, totally out of it, when a pinch on her nose caused her to open her eyes briefly and look around, and there they were, Kang Yue and someone else, right there.
The person who dared to meddle with her was none other than little miss Kang Yue, who had refused to join her for drinks at the dance hall and now had the nerve to manhandle her while she was having her own drink; Tang Yuchan thought about the times Kang Yue had ditched her to go off with some guy, and she hadn’t protested then, but now Kang Yue dared to treat her like this.
So, she started cursing, "Fine, fine, that Kang Yue, I didn’t breathe a word when you were getting cozy with your Shen Dong, now here I am, just having a few drinks, and you attack me, pinching my nose, how dare you, let go, let me sleep, I’m dead tired," her speech slurring.
She struggled to lie back down, beyond anyone’s control at this point; Kang Yue was at a loss, deciding not to try waking Tang Yuchan up anymore. Considering how drunk she got, she probably wouldn’t sober up until the following evening—and who knows if she’d done anything regrettable in her stupor. Looking at her disheveled state, all Kang Yue could do was silently pray she had not.
They decided to leave Tang Yuchan be, exchanging a glance before arranging for someone to carry Tang Yuchan to her room. Although it was a super-sized bar, there were rooms above for them, in case one day they partied too hard and needed somewhere to crash, a precaution now proving its worth.
"That’s enough, you’re already exhausted today, go rest up," Shen Dong said as he finished his sentence, "I’ll handle this, grab me if you need anything, might need your help to look after things tomorrow since I might sleep in late, so just help me out then."
Tang Yuchan muttered in her drunkenness, "I don’t want to be exploited anymore, you guys let me go, I want to get back to Shen Dong... to Shen Dong," her words making Shen Dong chuckle to himself, having never exploited her, her claims the greatest slander against him.
He always treated them well and now she was making it sound like he abused them, causing him to question himself, turning to Kang Yue to ask, "Have I ever mistreated you so much that you’ve always wanted to leave?"
