Hearing the announcement, Alice Thompson gazed out the window, her eyes brimming with joyful laughter.
The uncle and nephew duo disembarked from the plane and bid farewell to Ella Woods.
Midway through her departure, Ella turned back to look at Alice Thompson. She curved her lips into a smile, unsure if they’d ever meet again.
"Uncle, my mom has already sent me Grandma’s address."
Dale walked alongside Alice Thompson out of the airport, his eyes surveying Lhasa’s airport surroundings.
Alice Thompson patted Dale’s head and suddenly said, "Let’s take a photo to mark the occasion."
Dale didn’t overthink it; the two posed for a photo, adding a victory hand gesture, and snapped a picture.
After taking the photo, they headed to catch the airport shuttle to the city center.
Over an hour’s bus ride later, they got off.
Dale looked up at the sign of a hair salon and then turned to ask suspiciously, "Uncle, are you planning to get a haircut?"
"Not just me—you too. Let’s go in."
