Chapter 422: Extra One: Them
"Alice, you’re already twenty years old, not a kid anymore. Hurry up and get back home!"
Inside the Dale Group’s office, a woman with a sharp bob haircut frowned deeply.
She stared sternly at the young man on the other side of the video call.
"Sis, I’m going to find Mom. If I don’t find her, I’m not coming back." Alice was driving and tossed his phone to his niece in the passenger seat. "Dale, explain it to your mom."
Fourteen-year-old Dale, emotionless, prepared to clean up his uncle’s mess. "Mom, with me here, no one will kidnap and sell Uncle."
Alice couldn’t help but chime in, sounding a bit indignant, "I’m the grown-up here! If anyone’s getting kidnapped, it’s definitely you."
Dale gave the elegantly handsome Alice a cold glance, as if he were staring at an unruly child. "Zip your mouth first."
He had been perfectly fine attending school, only to be threatened by his uncle to skip class and accompany him on a mission to Lhasa to find their grandma.
Easy for him?
On the other end of the video call, Dale Land started unleashing her temper at her son. "Dale, your uncle is being reckless, but do you have to be? How could you join him? Wait until your dad gets to Capital City; you’re going to regret this. Tell your uncle to turn the car around and come back now."
She was practically losing her mind.
