Chapter 414: Didn’t Do Much
"Carson, can you help me pick up my car from the 4S repair shop tonight? I’ve got a date with a beauty tonight, no time to go myself."
Henry was sitting on a chair waiting for the barber to start cutting his hair.
Carson walked alongside Dale Land with his arm slung around her shoulder, replying to Henry, "Sure, send me the address. Which beauty are you meeting?"
Henry’s private life was always colorful.
"It’s Eleanor Thompson," Henry said.
Carson had been schemed against by Eleanor before. Recently, he was too busy with wedding preparations to confront her.
When he heard Henry was meeting with Eleanor, he advised, "I suggest you stay away from her. That woman harbors resentment toward both me and Little Dale. Her intentions in approaching you might not be pure."
Henry froze for a moment, "Huh? Could it be love turning into hate? Didn’t she say she had already given up on you?"
Carson was speechless, "What love turning into hate? What nonsense are you spouting? Anyway, steer clear of her. That woman is vicious."
Henry frowned slightly at Carson’s advice, "Carson, I know there might be bad blood between you two, but Eleanor’s been pretty nice to me. She probably wouldn’t target me, right? I mean, we’ve... slept together."
