Dale Land looked at the lavish spread and said with emotion, "Mommy, thank you, you’ve worked hard."
"Cooking for you is not hard, Dale. This is your favorite braised fish." Julia used the serving chopsticks to pick up a piece of fish for Dale and placed it in her bowl, making sure to pick a piece without bones for her daughter.
Dale smiled at the bowl full of love and happily accepted, "Mommy, eat some yourself too, don’t just take care of me all the time."
She also served some food to Julia.
Julia smiled gently, "Okay."
James Thompson ate his meal slowly and deliberately.
