When Anneliese King got up early and didn’t see Benjamin Taylor, she thought he had gone to work early.
Elise Morgan was sitting in the living room waiting for Anneliese King to have breakfast, ready to accompany her for a walk.
"Auntie King, I want to tell you some good news." Holding onto Anneliese King’s arm, Elise Morgan walked with her in the park downstairs.
She had a gentle smile on her face, "It’s really good news."
Anneliese King showed a rare smile, the clouds that had lingered due to her cold war with her son seemed to have dispersed a little, "What good news?"
"Benjamin and I are planning to get married," Elise Morgan said with a smile.
"What?" Anneliese King stopped in her tracks, gripping Elise Morgan’s arm tightly, she asked with a mix of shock and joy, "Really? Did Benny agree?"
Ignoring the pain on her arm, Elise Morgan nodded, a tender look in her eyes, "He agreed, Auntie King, you should know that Benjamin has always been very filial to you and he also wants you to be happy."
"Good, good, getting married, that’s good," Anneliese King babbled, overcome with happiness.
Her son was finally not continuing to argue with her because of Sophia Hart.
