Maya Chant quietly watched as the nurse covered Cody Thompson with a white cloth.
Cody Thompson had already made his will, all the assets of the Thompson Group and the Thompson Family were supposed to go to William Thompson and Eleanor Thompson. Even if James Thompson arrived, he would not be entitled to the Thompson Family’s property.
A sneer crossed Maya’s mind.
Assistant Hunter rushed to the hospital, his clothes buttons mismatched and he didn’t have time to care as he kept trying to contact James Thompson all the way but unfortunately couldn’t reach him.
By the time he reached the hospital, James Thompson’s phone finally connected.
"Young Master Thompson, the old master... just today Alice came, and tonight at home, he fell down the stairs, and after being taken to the hospital, efforts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful... he passed away."
Upon hearing this news, James Thompson’s face changed, "Send me the address, are we sure it’s an accident? Have the bodyguards guard the scene first."
Assistant Hunter nodded and agreed.
After hanging up the phone, Assistant Hunter sent the address to James Thompson.
James Thompson was now in the country, while Alice is in another Asian country, he made a call to Jasper Winters to fly to Alice immediately.
