Sophia Hart had left, and Julia Land began dealing with official business. As she was halfway through, she furrowed her brows, pondering the motives of Mason Moore and his ilk.
She truly couldn’t comprehend it and looked up at James Thompson, "Mr. Thompson, why would the Moore Family want to sell their shares of the company?"
James Thompson’s gaze was cool. As long as it concerned the Moore Family, he felt like frowning. He said indifferently, "Regardless of why they are selling their stocks, you can buy them at the market price."
Julia Land nodded, "I’m thinking that too. After Sophia’s wedding is over, I’ll discuss it with them."
Seeing her continuously busy, James Thompson couldn’t help but remind her, "Why don’t you take a nap and rest for a while?"
Just as Julia Land nodded and was about to rest, a bodyguard knocked and came in, saying that Maxwell Bell and a Mrs. Gunn wished to see her.
Mrs. Gunn?
Julia Land instantly thought of Madame Bell’s maternal family, the Gunn Family.
"If you don’t want to see them, then don’t," James Thompson said.
"It’s alright; I’ll see them. I’ve never been one to shy away from trouble," Julia Land instructed the bodyguard to let them in.
Maxwell Bell walked into the hospital room, supporting Mrs. Gunn with a head full of white hair.
