Chapter 242: Keeping a Man?
Connor Bell woke up in the morning and saw the news about Silicon Express’s smuggling.
He guessed that Julia Land would be busy in the morning, so he waited until eleven o’clock before calling her.
Madame Bell did not have the habit of watching the news in the morning and thus was unaware of the smuggling news related to Silicon Express.
She was in a good mood at the moment, humming a song as she arranged flowers in a vase.
It wasn’t until she heard Connor making a phone call to Julia that she realized something big had happened again.
"What trouble has happened now?"
Madam Bell frowned as she listened to the contents of the phone call.
Connor spoke calmly to Julia, "Julia, about the smuggling at Silicon Express, if there’s anything you need help with, just let me know."
Julia’s expression softened upon hearing her father’s concern, "Mm, thank you, Dad."
Connor continued, "If you can’t make it tomorrow, don’t bother coming back for dinner. The company’s matters are more urgent."
Julia chuckled, "Thank you, Dad. Tomorrow night, I will bring Dale and James Thompson back with me."
