She turned to the other shareholders, "Ladies and gentlemen, I assure you that I will do my utmost to handle this accident and ensure the stability of the company and the interests of the shareholders are protected. Please give us some time, and we will soon present a satisfactory response."
The meeting room fell silent, with shareholders showing different expressions.
After a brief silence, half of the shareholders nodded in agreement, willing to give Julia Land some time to deal with the accident.
The other half of the shareholders did not express their stance, as they originally sided with Uncle Moore and now chose a wait-and-see attitude.
"One month’s time—if the stock of Moore Group is affected, I expect you to resign actively from the position of Moore Family’s Chairman."
Uncle Moore was the first to leave the meeting room, followed by the other shareholders who left one after another.
Watching them leave, Julia Land turned to Michael Scott and said, "Assistant Scott, contact the relevant departments immediately to activate the emergency plan, and dispatch the investigation team to the accident site without delay to ascertain the cause."
