Chapter 177: Return to the Country
Chloe originally wanted to catch up to confirm whether it was indeed Julia Land.
But upon seeing Madame Bell coming out, she temporarily gave up the idea of pursuing.
Madame Bell said with a smile, "I told you there was no need to pick me up, where are Eleanor and William?"
"The kids are waiting for you in the car, godmother, it’s been months since I last saw you."
Madame Bell was very fond of Chloe; she had accepted her as her goddaughter two years ago.
"It’s just your sweet talk, I bought gifts for the kids."
"What about my gift? Why only for the kids?" Chloe playfully complained.
"You won’t be left out."
The two of them chatted and laughed as they left the airport.
Five years ago, the Bell couple had spoken with Cody Thompson—Chloe was reluctant to part with the twins; though she couldn’t live in the Thompson Family’s house, she could still visit the twins.
"Grandma, Eleanor missed you so much!" Eleanor, wearing a princess dress, reached out for a hug, and Chloe lifted her out of the car; she looked up and called out.
