Lucas Shaw noticed her unease and spoke in a low voice to comfort her, "Grandpa dislikes farewells, so he doesn’t want us to see him off. What’s wrong? Are you upset?"
"No, it’s not that. I’m just feeling a bit upset and worried, like something is about to happen."
Lucas Shaw chuckled softly and sighed helplessly.
"What could possibly happen? It’s not Grandpa’s first time traveling, and he has plenty of bodyguards with him, nothing will happen."
Serena Summers pursed her lips and gently shook her head.
"I can’t quite explain it, just feeling a heaviness in my heart. Maybe I’m indeed overthinking."
"Don’t overthink it, everything is under my watch."
Serena nodded and leaned back in Lucas’s arms, closing her eyes again.
