"What good stuff could possibly be of your concern?" Qin Jian raised an eyebrow at this bunch of thick-skinned guys.
"Good things are meant to be shared! Don’t be so stingy, Qin Jian, let’s see what you’ve got." Li Zecheng joined in.
"You guys are unbelievable!" Qin Jian laughed and unwrapped the item, which revealed two cardboard boxes. Inside the boxes were two bottles of red wine.
The wine was from Ning Yibin’s friend in Hong Kong, who had sent it to his father, and his father had mailed it to him for tasting.
"Wow! Red wine! That’s some good stuff! How about we try these two bottles tonight, brother Qin Jian?" Li Zecheng garnered enthusiastic support.
The two bottles of wine Qin Jian had just received were already earmarked by this group of rascals.
"You guys should really know your limits! Coming over for a meal my wife made is one thing, but sharing my wine? I’m telling you, we can only share one bottle; the other one’s for a romantic candlelit dinner or something when I have time with my wife!" Qin Jian said.
"Oh my! Looks like sister-in-law’s charm wins!" Li Zecheng pointed at the band of warriors and said, "See that? Once you’re married, learn from our chief of staff! That’s the real role model for us men! Pampering the wife goes without saying!"
"That’s so true, Chief!" Xiaoma, the company commander, said with a big laugh, "You said it perfectly! Sister-in-law can cook for the chief of staff during the day, warm his bed at night, and later on, even bear his children! What can us men do for the chief of staff compared to that?"
