You should’ve seen your dad boasting after you complimented him. He was so pleased, he waved his big brush and wrote a few more ’fu’ characters, claiming they were quite good."
"Dad’s calligraphy is indeed not bad."
"Not bad, my foot! I couldn’t see anything good about it, they plainly looked like chicken scratches!" Zhang Yun said with a look of disgust.
"Mom, if dad heard you say that, he’d probably get really angry!" An Hao laughed. Last time, her father-in-law and mother-in-law had quarreled over calligraphy.
It was the first time An Hao had seen her father-in-law take such a trivial domestic matter so seriously with her mother-in-law.
"I can’t be bothered with him. Go ahead and stick it up! Just find any spot and slap it on." Zhang Yun said, then went back inside.

"Because this place holds our beautiful memories," An Hao replied with a smile, "Don’t you remember?"
