Chapter 180 - 179: Seizing the Opportunity to Make a Point
The commotion turned out to be quite effective; she really did get into that school.
But not long after she started, she found that the Director of Studies had a knack for finding trouble with her, necessary or not.
It was only through hushed discussions among her classmates that An Hao learned the original student from the neighboring village, who could’ve gotten into a middle school with the lowest scores, happened to be the Director of Studies’ own nephew.
With An Hao’s upheaval, the Director’s nephew naturally missed out on the opportunity, so that’s when her grudge with the Director of Studies started.
Over the years, the Director hadn’t caught her in any serious trouble, at most giving her a hard time or scolding her here and there.
But looking at the Director’s demeanor today, An Hao felt he was about to make a mountain out of a molehill.
True to her suspicions, upon hearing An Hao speak, the Director slammed his fist on the table and pointed at An Hao’s nose bellowing, "Are you the director, or am I the director? I’ve been a director for so many years, I don’t need you to lecture me."
"Since you know how to be a good director, you should be fair and just. You called me here, and before I said a word, you’ve already convicted me." She wouldn’t carry the can for this; the charge was too serious.
"Alright, alright! You, with your sharp tongue! I won’t quibble over this with you. You say you didn’t do it, bring out the evidence then."
Hearing her words, An Hao couldn’t help but laugh out of anger, "I’ve never heard such nonsense. Since you’re saying I pushed her, you produce the evidence. With so many people around the school, how can you just say I pushed her?"
