The Favored Heiress

Chapter 751: A Family of Five

The next second, Yin Mo swiftly drew out a dagger and pressed it against He Chen’s throat, her voice low with warning, "Mr. He, you harbour ill intentions, so if I were to stab you twice in self-defense, it would be understandable, wouldn’t it?"

As she spoke, she secretly exerted force, and the sharp edge of the blade quickly left a trail of blood above He Chen’s collarbone.

He Chen didn’t dodge or avoid, his gaze lowered to her fair back of the hand, where—perhaps due to the strength she used—the pale blue veins were clearly visible.

He smirked and lifted his lips, leaning in toward Yin Mo once more, "Do you really think Xiao Yeyan left you behind just to accompany me shopping?"

In the face of death’s threat, He Chen was too composed. His debauched and unrestrained demeanor instead made Yin Mo hesitate, unable to strike again.

He Chen eyed the struggle in her eyes, his fingers tightening slightly around her chin, his voice low, "Let’s talk inside."

With those words, he brushed away Yin Mo’s hand with the dagger and, grabbing her wrist, headed toward the bedroom.

Yin Mo didn’t struggle excessively. passing through the living room, she gave a glance at the single sofa, a cold light flashing in her eyes.

In the bedroom, He Chen pushed Yin Mo down and pulled the covers over them both.

With the room plunged into darkness, Yin Mo wary of He Chen’s advances and loose morals, was about to kick him when she heard a teasing voice, "If you dare kick me, I’ll deal with you right away."

In the darkness, Yin Mo still clutched the dagger, gritting her teeth she muttered low, "What the hell do you want?"
