The Peace Hotel is a very famous old restaurant in Capital, where most of the diners are wealthy locals and some celebrities.
Mrs. Parker’s maternal family in Capital also has some assets, and this private room was booked under Mrs. Parker’s name.
Before leaving, Carlos still hadn’t gotten up.
Carlos was still sleeping in the study, and since he didn’t mention it, Emily Parker didn’t ask him to move back.
Emily Parker had the driver drop her off at the bus station near the Peace Hotel and told the driver not to bother picking her up. If it was still early after dinner, she planned to go to Eastern Hospital.
Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, Emily Parker was inquiring the doorman about the location of the private room booked by Mrs. Parker.
"Lady, the Celestial Fragrance Hall is on the third floor, at the southernmost end."
Just then, a black Bentley pulled up not far behind Emily Parker.
The person who got out of the car happened to overhear Emily Parker’s conversation with the doorman.
