Chapter 1541: How cute
In the next moment, Rain landed on his feet and then took a deep breath... he was having a hard time doing so thanks to his broken bones, but he eventually pulled off.
The Temporal path was updated.
Lvl 35: Time Reversal - Reverses the flow of time within a confined space, undoing recent events or restoring objects to previous states. Higher levels increase the time rewind and decrease the cost.
Lonos furrowed his eyebrows when he felt that... it seemed that Rain was still absorbing the information that he got in that dimension, but something was off... that kind of power was part of Instantaneous Strike, but Lonos didn’t use that power per se and alone in the dimension.
"It is a very fun technique..." Rain said. "I didn’t think that it would be a ranged attack, but I guess it makes sense. It would be a hassle to approach the enemy and then return to the previous position."
Lonos scowled... to think that Rain would catch on so quickly. His techniques, in theory, had some flaws, but they were only diversions that made the enemies unable to tell how they worked.
"Since I am tired of you, I will just use the next level of my strategy," Rain said.
As Rain’s aura vanished, Lonos’s eyes widened in surprise, his expression shifting from confidence to uncertainty in an instant. For a fleeting moment, it seemed as though Rain had been reduced to a mere mortal, stripped of his otherworldly abilities. However, the sudden emergence of another aura around Rain quickly dispelled any notion of his weakness.
Incredulously, Lonos saw the familiar temporal aura enveloping Rain, mirroring his own. The realization dawned upon Lonos like a thunderclap, a revelation that shattered the illusion of Rain’s vulnerability and laid bare the true extent of his power. With mounting apprehension, Lonos understood that he was facing not just a formidable opponent but a peer, a master of time whose prowess rivaled his own.
In that electrifying moment, the stage was set for a battle unlike any other, where the boundaries of time and space would blur, and the fate of worlds would hang in the balance.
"You... how..."
