Chapter 1506: Delusion
In all likelihood, the creature could only harness its ability to absorb heat under certain conditions, perhaps requiring it to endure a certain degree of damage or exertion before it could tap into its full potential. Such constraints served as both a boon and a bane, offering the creature incredible power in exchange for the vulnerability inherent in its physical form.
Rain decided to focus on defense and absorb the kinetic and thermal energy of the attacks, but soon, the creature faked a punch and then hit his right side... Rain’s ribs cracked, and a large chunk of his body burned as well.
"This fucker got faster too..." Rain thought while groaning.
Rain noticed the flames on the enemy’s body moving faster... so Arel was probably using them to propel herself faster. Rain wondered if she was inside the body or if she was just controlling it... it seemed a bit too dangerous.
"I could trap this thing inside my pocket dimension, but everyone is there... including Reed... it is too risky," Rain thought.
While the chances of everyone killing that thing as fast as possible, Rain could tell that a body like that would emit a lot of radiation... leaving his grandson close to a monster like that wasn’t the best idea.
In the end, it looked like Arel began to like the fight since the fire giant charged even faster than before and began to bombard Rain with punches... when he focused too much on guarding his upper body, Rain would suddenly get kicked in the stomach and then curse the enemy from the bottom of his heart... the damage was starting to pile up.
"I don’t have time for this..." Rain said when the enemy charged again.
When the enemy punched him once more, Rain used Origin Punch at the same time. As Rain’s punch connected with the fiery giant’s attack, a cataclysmic explosion erupted in a blinding inferno of heat and light. The force of the impact sent shockwaves rippling through the very fabric of space, shattering the creature’s form into countless fragments that scattered in all directions like shards of molten glass.
