Chapter 1498: Ultimate skills
While the others were in his pocket dimension, Rain moved around on the planets that were moving to extract some of their energy. They didn’t respond to his call since they didn’t want to be destroyed, so Rain didn’t feel bad for taking a bit of their energy and speeding up their ends. First them before him, after all. Besides, there isn’t a single living being that can outlast the life of any planet.
Rain did that because the spirits of the planets that agreed to help him didn’t have that much energy left, and he also wanted to use the time aspect as much as possible to buy time for his friends.
During that time, Rain also thought of some ways that he could use the information aspect, but testing them was rather difficult. He could do what Rais could do and a bit more, but the complexity of that path was just too high...
"I guess I can this a middle tier aspect while the fine three are the highest ones," Rain thought. "Rais didn’t have any information about them aside from what I already know... it seems that they didn’t leave traces of their activities either after the very moment they left their initial planet... maybe I should check it... but how can I do that when their bases surround it?"
Since there weren’t many new things that he could do with the information path, Rain decided to use it to improve the things that he could do and to pull it off, he just had to sit down and focus on improving the best technique that he had envisioned. With that one, he would achieve his goal for as long as he stays alive, but he wished that he didn’t have to go that far...
"I guess I should take some of the nutrients of the planets too..." Rain thought. "That should grant us some extra chances and possibilities... I tried not to become like them, but I can’t afford to spoil my conscience any further."
Rain also thought that he needed some extra countermeasures against the final three machine gods and the dragon slayer... he wished that he had enough time to gather more resources, but most of them were being used to increase the flow of time in his pocket dimension.
That was more efficient, after all. If Rain could use one million mana points to cause one million points of damage, or he could use that to buy enough time for everyone in his pocket dimension to gain one or two levels in skills for everyone there... The second option was more efficient.
"I guess I will just level up the skills of Transcendental Human Path; all of them at level one hundred should make me two times stronger," Rain thought.
