Demon Lord: Erotic Adventure in Another World

Chapter 905: Just Like the Old Days

Three hours later...

The enormous doors of the central tower slowly opened.

Hissss...

Asmodeus stepped into the cool evening air while fastening the final clasp around his black coat.

The contrast almost made him sigh.

Behind those doors remained three utterly exhausted women.

Alice had been the first to lose the ability to argue with him, collapsing into the sheets while muttering something about unfinished reports. Nerim lasted considerably longer, although the Siren eventually curled against his side with her scales glowing faintly beneath the sweat covering her body.

Though, as usual since his confession, Serena had been the most troublesome.

Even after everything, his white-haired goddess somehow found enough strength to cling around his waist and insist that she wasn’t tired.

’Until she fell asleep while saying it...’

Asmodeus couldn’t help but smile at their dishevelled looks, while he remained pristine and calm, his long white hair brushed back, revealing his sharp features and thick, curved horns under the moonlight.

"Daddy’s still got it."

Three hours had passed outside.

But inside his Domain?

Let’s just say it was considerably longer.

Time flowed according to his will within that isolated space, allowing him to give each woman the attention he’d promised without wasting the entire night.

And perhaps...

’Without giving them enough energy to follow me.’

His smile became slightly guilty.

He loved them.

But sometimes loving his wives required strategy.

Asmodeus descended the wide marble staircase leading away from the tower while the last traces of sunset disappeared behind Lumeria’s distant rooftops.

The palace grounds had already begun changing for the night, with the neon blue mana lamps awakened along the roads as female knights rotated between checkpoints.

Servants crossed the courtyards carrying lanterns and covered trays while the distant sounds of the capital slowly softened beneath the evening wind.

’Good, no one should notice me.’

He glanced away from the castle rapidly becoming home, and towards the south where his goal was.

"Baltimore again..."

His expression hardened, remembering that the information from Nerim’s report remained fresh in his mind. Foreign humans were asking about the harbour and different things related to the base and the city’s defences.

"How could they be so obvious...?"

There was no doubt the Emperor wanted to capture the two dragons, but tonight Asmodeus planned to learn more. His footsteps carried him towards the lower courtyard when a familiar presence appeared somewhere behind him.

’This energy...’

Asmodeus paused, his eyes shifting to his right.

A faint flutter of wings, barely disturbing the air, sounded as something landed with the faintest of taps.

But she remained still, not speaking or moving.

"Don’t hesitate, come out if you want something, Riel."

A pair of golden eyes appeared from behind one of the marble pillars as the succubus slowly leaned into view, her wings folded neatly against her back. At the same time, her tail swayed once behind her legs before becoming completely still.

The pair remained silent while watching each other.

Finally, Asmodeus sighed.

"Is there something wrong?"

"Wrong..." Riel kicked the ground, her normally mature demeanour a little diminished. "When was the last time you came to me...?"

"At night?"

"N-Not just for sex!" She shouted back, her voice echoing through the silent night.

Woosh!

Asmodeus instantly covered the distance, closing her mouth with his large palm, stopping the succubus from breathing as it wrapped around both her soft lips and nose.

"Mmmph...?! Nnngh?!!"

However, despite that, her struggling stopped after a few seconds... then her soft, warm tongue flicked across his palm.

"Whoa..."

"Let me go... I won’t scream anymore, okay?"

It felt amazing, like electricity jolted his brain the moment she began speaking through her tongue... each flick, slip and curl sending pure pleasure to all his nerve receptors.

Asmodeus quickly pulled his hand away.

"Oi... don’t do that."

Riel licked her lips.

"Do what?"

His eyes narrowed.

"You know exactly what you were doing."

"Mhm..."

Her golden eyes glimmered beneath the moonlight, and for a brief moment the mature succubus he’d grown familiar with returned. Yet the moment Asmodeus stepped away, her wings drooped slightly behind her.

"So...?"

"So?"

Riel stared at him.

"When was the last time?"

Asmodeus scratched the back of his neck.

’Ah...’

He genuinely couldn’t remember.

That alone made his expression stiffen.

There were too many women around him now, each carrying their own problems, responsibilities and children. Serena naturally remained close because of their recent reconciliation, while Alice practically lived beside him whenever there was Imperial work to complete.

Nerim controlled the seas.

Lumina had her duties.

The others all had places where their paths naturally crossed his.

But Riel and Sariel...

’When did I last spend proper time with either of them?’

Even with sex... he could probably count the times he’d spent with them alone on a single hand. Yes, they might be like twins with the same soul... but he’d truly made a mistake.

Riel watched his face closely enough that she probably found the answer before he did.

"Hmph..."

Her cheeks puffed out.

"Come here."

"No."

"Riel."

"I said no."

Despite her words, she remained completely still when he reached forward and wrapped one arm around her waist.

The succubus released a quiet grunt as her body pressed against his.

Asmodeus lowered his face towards her pink hair and breathed in the familiar fragrance lingering between her horns.

"Sorry."

"..."

"I’ve neglected you."

Riel’s fingers slowly curled around the fabric covering his chest.

"You have."

"I promise to make it up to you both... one at a time."

"Mhm."

Her forehead rested against him.

"I’m not angry that you spend time with the others, Master. Serena needed you, Alice practically carries half the Empire on her shoulders, and Nerim has barely slept since Leviathan appeared.

Let’s not forget Velvet and the others... we know, of all the wives, we’re the least... active, so don’t beat yourself up so much."

Riel’s voice softened.

"But sometimes Sariel and I wonder if you’ve forgotten that we’re your wives too."

Asmodeus tightened his arm around her.

"I haven’t."

"I know."

"Not for a second could I forget you... neither you nor our children together."

"Mhm... hehe."

"W-What?"

"Oh, nothing~ it’s just I didn’t come to scold you, or anything, but hearing these words from your lips makes me feel so good... my stomach is hot... and seeing your handsome face filled with regret... Hnnnng~ I just can’t stop myself from getting wet~"

"..."

’Ah... Succubi are truly different.’

"Hmph."

Her tail gradually curled around his leg, squeezing tightly as if in sync with her heart’s beating pace.

Asmodeus glanced down at it.

Despite all her complaints, the damned thing had already betrayed her.

’Cute.’

He almost said it aloud before remembering that he actually wanted to survive tonight.

Instead, Asmodeus looked towards the southern horizon again.

The distant lights of Lumeria stretched far beyond the palace walls, eventually disappearing into darkness.

Baltimore waited somewhere beyond them.

Then an idea slowly formed.

"Riel."

"Hm?"

"What are you doing tonight?"

She blinked.

"...Nothing?"

"Hahaha, that’s great! Then...!"

Asmodeus released her and began walking towards the lower courtyard. For a moment, Riel remained behind for several seconds before finally calling out to his shrinking back.

"Master?"

He glanced over his shoulder. "Hmmm? What... Aren’t you coming with me?"

Her wings immediately lifted her off the ground, fluttering rapidly.

"Eh?"

"We’re heading to Baltimore."

Riel stared at him with wide golden eyes.

"Together?"

"Unless you want me to invite Sariel instead."

The change was instantaneous.

"No."

Riel crossed the distance so quickly that she appeared beside him before his next step landed.

"Absolutely not."

"Poor Sariel."

"She can come next time."

Her previous melancholy vanished so completely that Asmodeus wondered whether he’d imagined it. Though before he knew it, Riel had adjusted the black dress covering her body and looked down at herself.

"Wait..."

"Wait..."

Asmodeus stopped.

"What?"

"I can’t go like this."

He studied her.

The dress wasn’t particularly extravagant, though anything wrapped around a succubus with Riel’s body naturally looked considerably more seductive than intended. Her wings remained exposed, two curved horns rose through her pink hair, and the thin tail swaying behind her would make blending among humans impossible.

"You definitely can’t."

Riel’s eyes narrowed.

"Don’t stare at my breasts while saying that."

"I wasn’t."

"Master."

"...Maybe a little."

Riel sighed before dark mana flowed around her body.

Her wings slowly folded inward and vanished beneath her back as if sinking beneath the skin, followed shortly by her horns. The tail disappeared last, curling around her thigh before dissolving into faint violet particles.

What remained looked almost human.

Riel’s golden eyes still carried a faint unnatural glow, while her beauty alone would make anonymity difficult.

Asmodeus rubbed his chin.

"Your eyes."

"I can hide those too."

The golden colour gradually faded until a softer brown replaced it.

"Better?"

"Mhm."

Riel smiled proudly.

"So what exactly are we doing?"

Asmodeus glanced at her with the most childish smirk before he chuckled to himself. "We’re going to watch a few little mice playing in my garden."

"We’re not going there to fight?"

Riel looked away.

Asmodeus continued walking while explaining.

"Several humans entered Baltimore through merchant vessels. They’re asking questions about the garrisons, harbour depth, currents and whether dragons travel through the region."

Riel’s playful expression disappeared.

"What should I do, Master?"

Asmodeus slipped both hands into the pockets of his coat as they crossed the final courtyard.

"If we grab the first idiot we find, whoever sent them will immediately know we’ve caught on, so... maybe we can use your dark magic to mess with their brains a little."

"Oh, Master~ I didn’t know you were so good at this, fufu. So we follow them. And find whoever they’re reporting to."

"Exactly."

A pleased smile appeared on her face.

"What?"

"Nothing."

"You’re smiling so brightly."

Riel moved closer until her shoulder brushed against his arm.

"I was simply thinking this feels like one of our old adventures."

Asmodeus slowed his pace, watching her face under the darkening lights; back then, there hadn’t been an Empire nor an enormous palace or council chambers filled with reports.

No children waiting for him to return.

There had simply been himself and the strange women who gradually gathered around him while they stumbled from one ridiculous disaster into another.

’And this one who enjoyed speaking in my head... trapped for thousands of years underground while waiting for my birth...’

"Hah..."

Riel looked up.

"Master?"

"You’re right."

His hand slipped around hers, and the succubus froze for a moment before her fingers immediately intertwined with his.

Asmodeus looked south again, this time his expression calmer and less severe.

"Let’s enjoy the trip while we’re at it."

Riel’s smile became brighter.

"Mhm!"

Then her eyes sharpened.

"But if someone attacks you..."

Asmodeus could already hear the excitement entering her voice.

"...I can kill them, right?"
