Chapter 53: Bank (2)
Andrew’s eyes fell on Adam. "Adam you have come at the perfect time," he said with a bright smile. "Meet him. This is the public face of the bank. The owner. His name is Logan."
Logan gave a small polite smile after hearing Adam’s name. He extended his hand forward to shake Adam’s. "Nice to meet you," he said his voice smooth and professional.
"You must be Sir Andrew’s friend." Andrew had not told Logan anything about Adam.
He had not told him who the real owner of this bank was. Logan assumed that Andrew a man who had hired him and paid him a very large sum of money was the true owner of this bank.
Just then Smith came forward. He also extended his hand to meet Logan. But Logan was very surprised to see this young boy. He did not know who he was. He just looked at him with a confused expression.
Logan looked at Andrew with a confused expression. Andrew looked back at Logan.
He gestured toward Smith. "This is Smith," he said his voice clear and confident. "He is the CEO of this bank. And he will be the one to manage this bank completely."
Logan was very surprised to hear this. He pointed a finger at Smith. "This kid?" he asked his voice a mixture of disbelief and contempt. "This kid will manage this bank?"
Andrew had found Logan during his search for a employees for the bank. Logan was an out-of-work actor. He was handsome charismatic and desperate. Andrew had prepared him to be the owner of the bank for the general public.
He had told him that a fixed amount of money 1.5 million dollars would be deposited into his bank account every month. For Logan who was in search of a job this was a dream come true. He had not asked any questions. He had just accepted the offer.
