Chapter 40: CEO (2)
He was sitting separate from everyone else. Seeing this Adam thought As long as I have time I should at least mingle with these children. At least my time will pass.
Adam came out of his office. He saw that all the children were playing some game. Some children were sitting and watching the girls in the class. Adam saw the child who was sitting alone and writing something in his notebook.
Adam thought This boy must be very smart in studies. But he should do some physical activity. Thinking this Adam stood in front of the boy. The boy had brown hair. He was very thin. Adam went and sat next to him.
Some children were a little surprised to see Adam’s action. They thought Today it’s definitely this boy’s turn. The boy’s name was Smith. They thought Today it’s definitely Smith’s turn.
Smith was also very surprised to see the teacher Adam. But when Adam’s attention went to his notebook he was very surprised. Because Smith was doing some accounting work there.
Seeing this Adam was a little surprised. He thought This work is either of some shop or he is writing something related to finance. Adam was very surprised to see this.
He took the notebook from Smith and started reading it. Smith tried not to give the notebook to Adam. But since Adam was a teacher Smith did not say much.
Adam saw that Smith had distributed all the accountant’s things very well. Adam was very impressed by this. He looked at Smith. "You are in the first year of your high school," he said.
"Don’t you think that you should pay more attention to studies and sports than these things? Especially on your friends. These days will not come back to you."
Smith was a little surprised to hear this. He immediately said "People whose lives are not lacking in money say such things." Adam was very surprised that Smith was saying such things. "Does this mean you are short of money?" he asked.
Smith took the notebook from Adam’s hand. He did not want to talk about his personal problems with this strange new teacher. He just wanted to be left alone.
"For now," Smith said his voice firm. "Soon with my hard work I will build my own business."
