Lucas stood in the Command Center, his eyes alight with predatory satisfaction, examining the tactical display displaying the results of the slaughter zone massacre. The 312 newly converted units had bolstered his army, but more importantly, the psychological impact had spread throughout the Continental Region. Fear was the most valuable currency in the Global Lord realm.
"My King," Selena stepped in, crimson eyes gleaming with dark anticipation, "I have received multiple surrender communications. Three minor Lords in the proximity of the slaughter zone have... capitulated."
Lucas activated the communication interface and saw a flood of desperate messages.

[From: Lord Garrett Ashwood - Level 31]
[Message: "Lord Nightveil, I surrender. My territory and all assets will be surrendered. Please spare the civilian population..."]
[From: Lady Miriam Goldenheart - Level 28]
[Message: "Please don’t attack. We surrender unconditionally. We have 2,000 civilians..."]
[From: Baron Viktor Ironhold - Level 34]
[Message: "Complete surrender. All military assets are yours. Only requesting safe passage for non-combatants..."]
"Touching," Lucas muttered in a tone dripping with sarcasm. "They still think surrender will save them."
Selena smiled, her expression radiating pure menace. "My King, with the territory they’re offering, we’ll control an additional 78 square kilometers. But what’s more... interesting is the civilian population they mentioned."
