Chapter 40 - 040: The Ball
As night fell, the distant tranquil and dark sky began to show twinkling stars, and the leaves by the road danced as shadows under the moonlight.
A racy red Ferrari raced along the highway and came to a steady stop in front of the Lu Family villa.
Qi Feng, dressed in a black tailcoat, first emerged from the driver’s seat. A red bow tie was tied at his collar, and the normally carefree expression on his face had turned somewhat serious.
He walked over to the passenger side and gentlemanly opened the door for Jiang Tong.
A pair of legs, as white as snow and smooth as cream, extended just a little outwards, enough to leave people drooling.
With a closer look, Jiang Tong climbed out of the Ferrari completely.
She had clear, bright peach blossom eyes, with a hint of mischief at the bottom, and a delicate face like that of a doll.
Her flawless, fair skin revealed a faint flush, and her lips were as luscious as rose petals, tempting anyone to want to lick them.
Jiang Tong wore a white long dress, her hair slightly wavy, moon-shaped earrings nestled by her ears, while her hand lightly rested on Qi Feng’s elbow.
"What’s the matter? Aren’t you going in yet?"
