Bai Yiran’s head was getting more muddled, and she wanted to go to the pantry to make a cup of freshly ground coffee. But she heard this conversation at the door.
"What’s the background of that new Bai Yiran in your department?"
"Heh, what kind of background could she have, she’s just a little girl who just graduated from college." That was Amy’s voice.
"Hey, didn’t you see she drives a Volvo to work? I bet her family is quite rich, huh?"
"I don’t think her family bought it... look at her, like a vixen; who knows how many sugar daddies she has out there..."
"Amy, your words are really sharp, but I think so too. She’s only been here for a short time and several guys in my department are already asking about her."
"She’s really a vixen, I’ll kick her out sooner or later!"
Bai Yiran stood at the pantry door, unsure whether to go in. She was angry, really wanting to burst in and scold those gossiping behind her back. But reason told her she couldn’t do that.
