Chapter 18: Favoritism and Blindness?
Once the call was connected, William Foster’s tone sounded very displeased: "What happened? What situation has come up this time?"
Daniel Wright was momentarily unsure how to explain, so he said, "Boss Foster, currently the Young Madam is fine, I’m observing the situation in the room next to hers. But the matter is a bit complicated, and I’m not very clear on the specifics, so it would be best if you could come and take a look."
After speaking, Daniel added, "Actually, the Young Madam is fine right now, and there’s no grudge with Samuel Grant, especially given the current situation. It also doesn’t seem quite appropriate for you to come directly and handle it."
If this were about catching someone in the act, Boss Foster could rush over directly.
But the current situation was evidently more complicated, and Daniel Wright hadn’t figured out what had happened.
Wait a minute, before figuring out this chaotic mess, he first needed to understand wasn’t it supposed to be a meeting between two people, how did it turn into three?
William Foster trusted Daniel Wright wouldn’t make things up, so after pausing for a moment, he had Arthur Davis push him into the hotel.
Meanwhile, in Clara Bennett’s room, the tension had reached its peak.
Daisy Stone looked down at Samuel Grant lying on the ground, then glared fiercely at Clara Bennett: "Clara Bennett, I’ll fight you!"
Clara Bennett rotated the knife handle in her hand coldly: "I generally don’t want to deal with pregnant women, please consider more for the child in your belly."
Samuel Grant gently tugged at Daisy Stone, signaling her to act.
Taking a deep breath, Daisy Stone suddenly rushed forward to pounce on Clara Bennett, shouting, "You wicked woman, you already have William Foster but still seduce Samuel Grant, caught red-handed by me, I’m going to make this known!"
