Chapter 41: The Prince’s Evolution
(The Present)
’’Remember to channel mana flow your highness.’’
’’Shush Godfrey. I want to focus.’’
’’Apologies...’’ he whispers.
Conrad has his eyes closed and is solely focused on the task at hand. He’s sitting on the ground with his legs crossing one another and his hands pressing against each other. He slowly starts thinking of the steps he needs to take for him to activate his power.
He cancels the external noise until the only thing he can hear is the rush of the wind through the leaves. He takes a slow and deep breath, and slowly opens his hands to open a small gap between them.
After he opens the gap, a bright light starts to shine from his stomach, and where his heart is positioned, it starts getting cold. His mind becomes at ease for a moment, and he sees what his power is.
He finds himself in a room made of ice, and there’s something glowing in the middle of that room. He steps closer to the glowing object and reaches out to touch it and the moment he comes to contact with it, the object explodes.
’’Godfrey... I’ve found it! I’ve found my unco!’’ He tries to become excited but stays composed as he fears he might ruin the process.
’’Good, good. Now summon it.’’
Godfrey takes a few steps back and as he can feel the temperature changing and the wind currency changing with it. Conrad maneuvers his hands in circles and pattern trying to summon his power while his eyes are still close and sitting in the same position.
A diamond shaped ice the size of his hands appears between the space of his hands, and he slowly opens his eyes. Excitingly jumps to show Godfrey the results and almost dropping it.
