Chapter 31: In need of help.
Amari wakes up on wet muddy ground and is still dizzy, he’s not aware of where he is or what is happening. He sees Apollo from a distance who’s still unconscious with his clothes ripped from him.
Amari stumbles and barely stands on his feet, he takes a hard step forward and it feels as if something is pulling him back. When he finally approaches Apollo, he attempts to wake him up but its futile.
Amari then attempts to pick Apollo up so that he can carry him but ends up dropping him and falls on face first on the ground. He gets up and tries again but fails once more, but in his third attempt he finally manages to pick him.
As he walks through the woods, his physically and mentally tired. He trips and falls on several occasions but keeps pushing through the pain trying to find a place where they could rest.
After hours of falling and walking he finally sees a village, there’s guards everywhere surrounding the village. Amari smiles and wait takes a deep breath, he starts going towards the village.
One of the guards that’s standing in front of the gate and sees Amari from a distance, he doubts. He squints his eyes so that can see whether he is seeing a person or whether it’s his imagination.
’’Hey... can you see that? or is it just me?’’
’’Where?’’
’’Look over there.’’ The guard points at the direction of where Amari is.
’’What is that?’’
They both look at Amari who’s walking in their direction covered in mud and barely looks like a human, while carrying a naked Apollo on his bed.
’’I don’t know...’’
