Glowing hands hovered behind Oldrich’s shoulders, as if someone invisible stood on his back.
"You humans wouldn’t know this technique. I’ll give you a hint — my attacks cannot be deflected."
The girls hesitated. Should they strike first or wait for him to make the move?
Aimer wanted to tell Ash, but doubted herself. In the end, Ash turned and gave her a quick nod.
Even without discussing a plan, they both already knew what to do.

Oldrich lunged forward with a wide swing!
The girls instantly conjured multilayered barriers and leapt backward.
In a split second, Aimer saw it: the glowing hands behind Oldrich twitched, the sword shifted grip — and her barrier shattered.
She realized that the enemy’s Mado-technique — that glowing spirit — had struck. But the strike itself was invisible to the naked eye.
Oldrich smirked, seeing the shock in Aimer’s eyes.
"Impressive. You figured it out so quickly. Scorching Wanderer attacks and defends me from every direction. Its speed exceeds that of light itself. Which is why it cannot be blocked."
