After experiencing events with monsters, enchanting demons, ticket inspectors, and more, the car resumed its long-lasting calm once more. The train stopped at three stations during this time, with passengers boarding and disembarking. Yet, the number of people in the carriage where Li Yi was stayed consistently low, with at most only seven or eight passengers.

Li Yi sat through five stations altogether but still did not hear the sound of dogs barking.

This meant he had not arrived at the correct station.

Moreover, he had already delved deeply into this dark world full of buildings and was thoroughly lost; he himself didn’t know where he had ended up because the buildings outside remained unchanged as before, without any alterations. He suspected this train was circling within this endless city.
