Following this new route, the trio encountered no danger along the way; however, they had to stop their vehicle when they almost reached Ghost Street because there was no road ahead, only ruins and rubble left, forcing them to proceed on foot.

The group continued forward until they saw what resembled an ancient street, and only then did they halt.

"Lin Yue, Zhao Lingfu, let’s stop here. Ghost Street is just ahead. If we go any further, the ghost soldiers inside might notice us. Last time I brought something from Ghost Street that can mask the living’s scent, so these ghosts won’t discover me," Li Yi said, pulling a human skin mask from his backpack and putting it on.

"Okay, be careful on your way. If this trip doesn’t go well, retreat immediately and we’ll think of other ways to increase the Cultivation Value," Lin Yue said.

Standing by, Zhao Lingfu added, "Ghost soldiers are indeed a hassle, they’re tricky because we don’t have a means to deal with them effectively. It’s easy to harm the soul by accident. Although an Evolver’s strength is great, it can’t be utilized fully in front of ghost soldiers. I’ll go back and ask around to see if there’s a good method to tackle these ghosts.
