Chapter 82 - 67: Sudden Mission
Li Yi had been at the training base for over ten days and his gains were considerable. Not only had he mastered the use of various firearms, but he had also roughly perfected his Combat Skill. During this period, he also engaged in Meditation with the aid of Mysterious Objects. Although he was still far from reaching the level where he could unlock his inspiration, his physical fitness had undeniably been greatly enhanced, filling in some deficiencies caused by cultivating too quickly before.
After a period of settling down, Li Yi could clearly feel that his strength had once again improved significantly.
However, considering he had already spent a lot of time here, he found himself having to bid farewell to Li Shudi today and leave Training Area Two.
"Oh, you’re leaving so soon? You still need to practice your Combat Skill more, there might be room for further improvement," Li Shudi said, expressing surprise at Li Yi’s sudden departure.
Li Yi replied, "Although I would like to continue practicing with Instructor Li, there are many things waiting for me outside, and I cannot afford to spend too much time at the training base. That’s why I plan to quickly pass the qualifications in the other two training areas."
Though he said this, he knew in his heart that if he continued to stay at the training ground, he would probably end up broke.
He had spent a substantial sum of money on firearms training, and these past ten days he had also spent a considerable amount on nutrient solutions. Although he still had some savings, living off of them was not sustainable—he needed to live, move to a new home soon, and cultivation would continue to cost money.
"But you can’t really learn anything new in Training Area Two, I’ve taught you all I can. Your Combat Skill is impressive, and staying here any longer would just be a waste of time. It’s better for you to gain experience from missions outside, which will contribute more to your progress. Go ahead, I will sign your qualification certificate, don’t worry," Li Shudi said, nodding his head.
"Thank you for the guidance these past days, Instructor Li," Li Yi said earnestly. "When I completely perfect my Combat Skill, I will definitely promote it far and wide."
"Good, I look forward to that day," Li Shudi said with a smile.
Without further ado, Li Yi said his goodbyes to Li Shudi and then prepared to head to Training Area Three.
